If the Government prevent us from holding our wedding will we get our money refunded? Yes. If the Gov. stop your wedding from taking place you can either postpone your wedding to an available date that suits you both, or ask for a full refund.
If the Government restricts the size of our wedding will we get a partial refund? If the Government restrict your wedding to 30 people or less, you will be refunded £2,000.00. This does not include ‘Intimate Wednesday’ prices which will remain the same.
If an important member of the wedding party is unable to attend the wedding because they have corona virus or told to isolate, will I be able to postpone our wedding? If Avalen or the Government prevent your wedding from going ahead, you get a full refund or be offered an alternative date. We will consider other requests and try to be as accommodating as we can. There are a number of unexpected events that might prevent your wedding from going ahead, not just Corona Virus. We highly advise you to purchase private wedding insurance to cover this eventuality.
What precautions are being taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus at my wedding?
• A full and thorough risk assessment and extra measures are being taken to make Avalen Covid-safe.
• Additional training for all our staff.
. Avalen will be thoroughly disinfected in between weddings.
• We have adapted our service to continue to deliver incredible events that adhere to the government guidelines.
• Additional hand washing and sanitising facilities.
• Helpful signage throughout the venue.
• Extra cleaning during your stay with us.
• Fully supporting test and trace.
Everyone should sanitise their hands before they enter the wedding venue and regularly wash their hands.
Anyone with any cold or flu-like symptoms should be asked not to attend. Ask your videographer if they can set up a live video link so these guests can still be part of the day from a distance.
Of course, at a wedding, it’s always nice to have hugs, kisses and handshakes, but once again the best policy to adopt is the one which most reduces the risk. Try to avoid physical contact and social distance.
Our large dining room can be arranged for social distancing and the large doors can be left open to let in the fresh air. With the option of using the courtyard (weather permitting) holding your ceremony outside and eating/drinking al fresco will only add to the ambience of your special day.
With sensible precautions, your wedding guests should be safe from COVID-19.
